NIGHTINGALE-GARDEN KISUMU MILIMANI LAKE VICTORIA





We got another handcart with “growing soil” and fill our plastic pots with it. Nobody knows where this compost-like soil comes from, but as you can see from the neighbouring flower patch, everything is thriving. And all my seeds are coming up, even though some are already 3 years old.

There are a lot of recycled water bottles here when it's 30° every day.

We must find a boy who will give us even more, that will give someone a little something to do.

THE FRUIT SHOP

We thank God in heaven that MILLICENT is on our premises with their fruit stand and has cold drinks for us. It will always remain that way.

Because the hospital in opposite NIGHTINGALE MEDICAL CENTER does not have a canteen, she is always busy. A great place. What is macabre is that it makes a lot of sales when, in the event of a death, the relatives have to wait until all matters have been settled and the transport can then take place. That's just life.

She is now also happy that the area is being actively and beautifully designed and that even more visitors will come. She also now involuntarily receives a little publicity.

Tulipata mkokoteni mwingine wenye "udongo unaokua" na kujaza vyungu vyetu vya plastiki. Hakuna anayejua udongo huu unaofanana na mboji unatoka wapi, lakini kama unavyoona kwenye sehemu ya maua ya jirani, kila kitu kinastawi. Na mbegu zangu zote zinakuja, ingawa zingine tayari zina miaka 3.

Kuna chupa nyingi za maji zilizorejeshwa hapa wakati ni 30° kila siku.

Lazima tupate mvulana ambaye atatupa hata zaidi, ambayo itampa mtu kitu kidogo cha kufanya.

 

DUKA LA MATUNDA

Tunamshukuru Mungu aliye mbinguni kwamba MILLICENT iko kwenye eneo letu na stendi yao ya matunda na ina vinywaji baridi kwa ajili yetu. Daima itabaki hivyo.

Kwa sababu hospitali iliyo mkabala na NIGHTINGALE MEDICAL CENTRE haina kantini, yeye huwa na shughuli nyingi. Mahali pazuri. Macabre ni nini ni kwamba inafanya mauzo mengi wakati, ikitokea kifo, jamaa wanapaswa kusubiri hadi mambo yote yametatuliwa na usafiri ufanyike. Hayo ni maisha tu.

There is no growing soil like we have here. But LILIAN in the neighbouring nursery manages with shade and mulch that almost all of my seeds come up from Spain. It's amazing how she does it. Only the marigold seeds worry us and don't come. I do not know why that is. It is always important to find someone who knows the earth and the climate here. Some seeds don't need such humus-rich soil to start, some like the avocado seeds just need enough water and then need 2 months until they have grown roots in order to plant them in soil. Her place is next to the old lady with her flower nursery, who gave her permission to do it there, but she does not have any paper. I have now received an official letter and a permit as well as a water connection. So, she now has the right to run her small nursery there, and we have our own water connection with a meter.   What's coming is Alium Giganteum, I brought the seeds with me from Andalusia, they all came straight away. It is a great medicinal plant with unrivalled antitoxic properties, works against diabetes, Alzheimer's and malaria, and also against impure skin. I came across it by chance and googled it.
