NIGHTINGALE PERMACULTURE GARDEN KISUMU MILIMANI KENYA

We had already started sowing the seeds I had brought with me from Spain, Italy and Germany with LILIAN at the neighbour’s house. Lots of pumpkin, chard, peppers, tomatoes and asters, jacaranda and fire tree and so on. But I didn't expect the size we got now. This exceeds all expectations. And we urgently need more seeds and to build a seed bank here.

Tulikuwa tayari tumeanza kupanda mbegu nilizokuja nazo kutoka Hispania, Italia na Ujerumani na LILIAN kwenye nyumba ya jirani. Malenge nyingi, chard, pilipili, nyanya na asters, jacaranda na mti wa moto na kadhalika. Lakini sikutarajia saizi tuliyopata sasa. Hii inazidi matarajio yote. Na tunahitaji mbegu zaidi kwa haraka na kujenga hifadhi ya mbegu hapa.

There is no growing soil like we have here. But LILIAN in the neighbouring nursery manages with shade and mulch that almost all of my seeds come up from Spain. It's amazing how she does it. Only the marigold seeds worry us and don't come. I do not know why that is. It is always important to find someone who knows the earth and the climate here. Some seeds don't need such humus-rich soil to start, some like the avocado seeds just need enough water and then need 2 months until they have grown roots in order to plant them in soil.   PERMACULTURE COURSE AGRO-ECONOMY (Post 14, 30.11.23) 1 PDC LESSON - 3.44 - START A GARDEN + NURSERY – LILIAN EXPAND HER PLACE  Near NIGHTINGALE MEDICAL CENTRE in KISUMU MILIMANI KENYA Lilian is now stimulated by my activities and expands her space and clears it of grass and stones. Her place is next to the old lady with her flower nursery, who gave her permission to do it there, but she does not have any paper. I have now received an official letter and a permit as well as a water connection. So, she now has the right to run her small nursery there, and we have our own water connection with a meter.   What's coming is Alium Giganteum, I brought the seeds with me from Andalusia, they all came straight away. It is a great medicinal plant with unrivalled antitoxic properties, works against diabetes, Alzheimer's and malaria, and also against impure skin. I came across it by chance and googled it.
