In order to accommodate the large stones that were created during land cultivation, we had the idea of creating a herb spiral.
The excavation work continues in full; Andy is busy and gets involved. In him I have found a reliable employee who is willing to learn and gets involved in the design, he enjoys it.
We are finding better, untouched soil beneath the grass. And one hill after another is being reworked.
New good soil costs $3 a bag, but we take what we have and then add fertilizer. It's not the case that all plants always need top potting soil like they do when growing.
We put mulch on the beds that have already been planted, we have enough of it and there is a lot of mowing around us and there is hay, which is particularly suitable for mulching.

Ili kukabiliana na mawe makubwa ambayo yaliundwa wakati wa kilimo cha ardhi, tulikuwa na wazo la kuunda ond ya mimea.
Kazi ya uchimbaji inaendelea kwa ukamilifu; Andy yuko busy na anajihusisha. Ndani yake nimepata mfanyakazi wa kuaminika ambaye yuko tayari kujifunza na anahusika katika kubuni, anafurahia.
Tunapata udongo bora, ambao haujaguswa chini ya nyasi. Na kilima kimoja baada ya kingine kinafanyiwa kazi upya.
Udongo mpya mzuri unagharimu $3 kwa mfuko, lakini tunachukua tulichonacho kisha kuongeza mbolea. Sio hivyo kwamba mimea yote daima inahitaji udongo wa juu wa sufuria kama inavyofanya wakati wa kukua.
Tunaweka mulch kwenye vitanda ambavyo tayari vimepandwa, tuna vya kutosha na kuna mowing nyingi karibu nasi na kuna nyasi, ambayo inafaa hasa kwa kuunganisha.

There is no growing soil like we have here. But LILIAN in the neighbouring nursery manages with shade and mulch that almost all of my seeds come up from Spain. It's amazing how she does it. Only the marigold seeds worry us and don't come. I do not know why that is. It is always important to find someone who knows the earth and the climate here. Some seeds don't need such humus-rich soil to start, some like the avocado seeds just need enough water and then need 2 months until they have grown roots in order to plant them in soil. Her place is next to the old lady with her flower nursery, who gave her permission to do it there, but she does not have any paper. I have now received an official letter and a permit as well as a water connection. So, she now has the right to run her small nursery there, and we have our own water connection with a meter.   What's coming is Alium Giganteum, I brought the seeds with me from Andalusia, they all came straight away. It is a great medicinal plant with unrivalled antitoxic properties, works against diabetes, Alzheimer's and malaria, and also against impure skin. I came across it by chance and googled it.
