Fencing the beds with the existing stones works well. In heavy rain, the topsoil does not wash away, and the excess water flows down the paths, or remains there and seeps away later. It is therefore the simplest and cheapest way to design the raised bed system.
Where there is growth, there is also death. And regular deaths in the hospital opposite.
"We come empty-handed, and we leave empty-handed.
And in the meantime, we should garden."

Uzio wa vitanda na mawe yaliyopo hufanya kazi vizuri. Katika mvua kubwa, udongo wa juu hauoshi, na maji ya ziada yanapita kwenye njia, au hubakia pale na huondoka baadaye. Kwa hiyo ni njia rahisi na ya bei nafuu zaidi ya kutengeneza mfumo wa kitanda kilichoinuliwa.
Palipo na ukuaji, kuna kifo pia. Na vifo vya mara kwa mara katika hospitali kinyume.
“Tunakuja mikono mitupu, na tunaondoka mikono mitupu.
Na wakati huo huo, tunapaswa bustani."

There is no growing soil like we have here. But LILIAN in the neighbouring nursery manages with shade and mulch that almost all of my seeds come up from Spain. It's amazing how she does it. Only the marigold seeds worry us and don't come. I do not know why that is. It is always important to find someone who knows the earth and the climate here. Some seeds don't need such humus-rich soil to start, some like the avocado seeds just need enough water and then need 2 months until they have grown roots in order to plant them in soil.   PERMACULTURE COURSE AGRO-ECONOMY (Post 14, 30.11.23) 1 PDC LESSON - 3.44 - START A GARDEN + NURSERY – LILIAN EXPAND HER PLACE  Near NIGHTINGALE MEDICAL CENTRE in KISUMU MILIMANI KENYA Lilian is now stimulated by my activities and expands her space and clears it of grass and stones. Her place is next to the old lady with her flower nursery, who gave her permission to do it there, but she does not have any paper. I have now received an official letter and a permit as well as a water connection. So, she now has the right to run her small nursery there, and we have our own water connection with a meter.   What's coming is Alium Giganteum, I brought the seeds with me from Andalusia, they all came straight away. It is a great medicinal plant with unrivalled antitoxic properties, works against diabetes, Alzheimer's and malaria, and also against impure skin. I came across it by chance and googled it.
